Some sweet suggestions!!!
I have been trying out sugar free stuff and trying to find some winners! Some stuff I had bought in the past was so bad that I had to throw it away, inedible!!!! I went shopping and found hard candies (butter Toffee) from Sweet N Low. Really tasty!
I also bought some cookies and hard candy from Fifty /50 a company who manufacture things for diabetics. There are calories in their things but not too many and if you need a little sweet, they taste great with no aftertaste like so much of the stuff. I also noticed that QVC featured cookies that were sugar free yesterday. I bought them at the store too and they are yummy! I just have to have a little sweet something after a meal.

I baked a cake with Splenda, we all had a piece (mine was small) So I went to the Splenda site. You only need to use 1/2 to 1/4 the sugar called for when you use the baking splenda. They have some great recipes on their site too.

Do you think that we might start posting what we had to eat today????

Yes the baking splenda does have sugar in it but I discovered that you can substitute about 1/4c. of splenda for an entire cup of sugar. The calorie count is on the bag so it is not too bad. The baking splenda is very very sweet! I think that gram wise it is under 6 grams which is what I look for when buying things in the grocery store. It is shocking how much sugar most items have in them!!!
I dont have a Wal-Mart but found a lot of yummy stuff at the grocery store so I stocked up, it helps me to keep away from chips and crackers to have that little bit of sweet that sugar free gives me. Now they taste great but my husband says he can taste the artificial sugar in them! Strange, I couldnt stand it either a while ago, now it tastes great. I guess that I have shaken the sugar demon off for good......
