First and most importantly, I have become a member of the Century Club. That's right, as of this week I have lost 100 pounds!!! WOOOHOOO I am still in shock, I have not weighed for 3 weeks and then suddenly I got on the scales and I weighed in at 140 pds. Secondly, we lost everything from our downstairs and a large portion upstairs due to our roof blowing off and I am in need of a lot of stuff. The government is going to go through our claim and depreciate and stuff and we will not get enough to replace everything I am sure. Therefore I have registered for a hurricane relief wishlist at Walmart.com. Anyone that is interested in helping us out, can visit any Walmart or walmart.com, click on wish list at the top right of your screen, and search by my last name Glantz. Once you click on Julian & Rhonda, it will show you my wish list and you can purchase from there and it will be automatically shipped to me. Brandon lost his bicycle and we have no kitchen supplies whatsoever. Some of the things on my wish list are somewhat pricey, but there are some family members that are willing to buy those items for us. We appreciate anything and everything that anyone can do for us at our desperate time of need! Anyone else that has lost everything, can go to walmart or walmart.com and register for hurricane relief wish list, just as I did. I highly recommend it. Thanks in advance, I love you all! Rhonda

Rhonda, well glad to hear from you !! And happy about your weight loss, welcome to the century club!! Wohoo! Where are you guys staying? Since you're mentioning kitchen supplies, is your house liveable or did you find another house? The wishlist is a great idea. I'll check into it and see what I can afford. Money's the tight spot, I'm sure it is with a lot of folks, having to evacuate totally ate the money up I had put aside for other things and I just refuse to try to get red cross money because we really didnt lose but the groceries in the fridge and freezer. But I'll check it out. I feel guilty at times for still having everything I own Dawn's back and Sara will be in a few weeks. Do you need help with going to your house to clear stuff out? I got all weekend, if you need me, let me know. Love ya girl... take CARE of you! Andie

Our house is not livable. We had almost five feet of water and the mold and mildew has taken it over. Military housing office here worked very quickly and placed us in another housing area off of Pass Road. We have already moved what little we could salvage and are sleeping at the house but we have nothing for the living room, kitchen, dining room, office and only one set of sheets for each of our beds, and those are loaners from the base family support center. We will be leaving this afternoon to go to GA and pick up Brandon because his school starts here on Monday. Thanks for your offer, I appreciate it. Rhonda

Congrats hon! I know you were shocked! You already looked WONDERFUL - just can't imagine you now! Thanks for the info about the Wal-mart wish list. That is a nice service. I'm praying diligently for you guys. Everyone down there, but you've been heavy on my mind. You were so nice during my surgery. For that I thank you. You hang in there and know that you and your family are in my thoughts every single day. HUGS Kimberly

Rhonda, The weight loss is great!! However, I'm so sorry for what you have lost as a result of the hurricane. I'm going to look at Wal-Mart's site and try to help if I can. I'm having surgery Friday. Best wishes and May God bless and keep you! Deborah

We have been assigned a house and have salvaged what little we could from our old house. We still have our bedrooms and that is about it. We will be filing our claim with the government this afternoon and then it will be a waiting game. We started sleeping at our new place on Friday night, but with no kitchen ware we are still eating at the chow hall. As of tomorrow, they are going to start charging for dependents to eat there, only the active duty will be able to eat for free. We are leaving this afternoon or tomorrow to go to GA to pick up Brandon so we will need stuff for our house when we get back! Love and miss you lots, email me your phone number to my [email protected] address. Love ya! Rhonda

I tried to go online and shop for you some things, but I could not find your list. I tried searching using your last name but it brought nothing up. I will keep trying. Melissa

Well, I finally got it to work. I had to put in the first two letters of Julian's name in the first name block and then the whole last name in order to get it to come up. I bought you a few things. YOu should get them between 9-27 and 10-4. I am saving my silverware for you too. I will get it to you somehow. Email me your physical address and I can ship it to you UPS from my work. I got new silverware last year but I saved my other in the attic in the box my new came in because it is good silverware and I didn't want to send it to Salvation Army. I wanted someone I knew to use it. And how perfect. I want you to have it. I wish you could come for a visit and get it. You and Brandon and Julian should come up one weekend and stay with us just to get away. We have plenty of room. Melissa
