With tears in my eyes I thank you...

I want to just say thank you for all the well wishes and prayers I have recieved and offers to help... I am telling you this last week has been a living hell.. I have wanted to throw my phone out the window I dont knwo how many times... I am so thankful for my Family here on OH.. Today while reading all the replies I couldnt help but cry but for the first time since this disaster they were happy tears to know I have such awesome freinds that are willing to go out of their way to help... SO many have lost so much and it's a grieving process..Thats going to take a while... But we can build new memories that are even better than the ones before... I wouldnt usually put my address on here but at this point any help is more than I am getting right now... And I have Coast Gaurd and cops all over my neighbor hood so I am not to concerned and I say that with a smile... Karen, I am so sorry for what you have been through. I have been praying for all the victims of the hurricane, but now I can pray specifically for you and your family. I praise God for sparing the lives of you and your family. I read your profile and am in awe of what you came out of. I pray that you will have gotten some help by the time you read this. Surely, FEMA or the Red Cross or someone can help. When I get my next check, I would like to send you a little something to help. God bless you! Oh my goodness Karen, we have been watching the broadcasts on Fox from Long Beach!!!!! I know that you are completely devistated by all of this! Have you filed a claim with FEMA? My daughter contacted the Red Cross and got a card from them. It is a combination of welfare and food stamp funds. You are entitled to a month of food stamps under their disaster relief policy with no questions asked, after the first month if you have no money or job you can continue to get the stamps. If you had insurance, home owners, most companies are issueing policy holders $2500 checks to help out. Hope that this helps! Cheryl
