Hey guys, I am back.
Hello everyone, I am back online now. The hurricane had me out of touch for a while. Hope everyone else is doing good. I did have to evacuate to Alabama on Tues during the night due to Catherine's allergy asmtha flaring up and no doctor around to help us. I had her seen in Alabama and she got three shots and lots of medicine and had to do the breathing treatments for 5 days. I got back to MS on Monday. Our offices were flooded. It took our roof off and then our sprinkler system line broke so we pretty much lost a good bit of our inventory and our offices are being gutted due to mold growth. But my house faired well. No damage. Just some trees on my fence and John's shop. We are one of three houses in our neiborhood who got power back a couple days ago. The rest of our neighborhood still has no power. But we are very lucky and I praise God everyday that we are as good off as we are. My poor neighbor's house across the street was destroyed, and those poor people on the coast and in New Orleans have nothing. I pray for them and their families. I missed you guys.

The electrician came to the house this morning and now we are just waiting on the power company to tie us back in. William went down there and they said they had us in line. I sure do hope that line is finished today. I would be so so so happy!
Thank you to you and John and your daddy for everything yall did for us during the storm. It was much appreciated!

Hey Melissa,
I am glad that you are back safe and sound and that your house was spared by this evil storm. We are taking things one day at a time, and it is VERY hard. We spent most of the day today going through our stuff and trying to salvage what little we can save. I got all of my clothes out of there and washed them like three times, and now they seem to be okay. Lucky for me. My cruise was fun, I missed having Julian there, but still had a good time, it took my mind off of all of this mess. I got back yesterday morning and Julian picked me up in Mobile. I will be staying here on base with him and going back to work Monday. Brandon is enrolled in school in GA and will be staying with my sister there for a while. I am unsure when he will come back, we need to have a place to live before I bring him back here. Please tell John and the kids we said hello. We are fine here, and we will recover, but it will take a while!
