Surprise Visit

Jimmy (AKA - Afro Man) stopped by the paper this morning. His apt is gone. THey lived in Bay St. Louis. His casino ended up in DiamondHead but they are okay. They were in Hattiesburg when the storm hit. I told him to get his butt back online and post... he has lost lots more weight!

Hey Guys, It's Me! It's been a rough week and a half. We went down to our apt this past Sunday to find that the whole south wall was blown out and our roof was blown off and the bedroom window was blown out. I had only moved about half of my stuff when I moved down to the coast about 4 months ago so I didn't lose everthing. Alot of my stuff is still in storage here in Hattiesburg, but I am back to living with my parents for awhile JOY!! I am blessed to still be alive though...so many people have it ten times worse that me and my girlfriend. My girlfriend found out today that her boss died in he storm. My girlfriend worked for a medical clinic in Bay St. Louis and her boss was there at the last minute trying to salvage med records and stuff and she got caught up in it and didn't make it....they just found her today during the search and recovery efforts....SAD It really makes me realize how lucky we really are....very humbling. Christine, it was good to see you today...you are looking GREAT!! My girlfriend couldn't get over how good you looked...she had seen some of your before photos on your profile and was shocked...I'm so proud of you! I have really let myself go the past few weeks...I think I have taken my meds maybe twice....I know...i'm ashamed of myself, but life has been pretty crazy...I gotta get my s*** together Well, I hope everybody is doing well! I wouldnt mind staying with my parents right about now. They have power and A/C... Woohoo... You look great too, Jimmy. I thought you had fallen off the face of the earth. Its nice to see yall are okay and doing well. I think we have all fallen off the wagon this past week. Its been so hard. You eat what you can and I feel like a squirrel. I see food and think I have to eat it and store it for later.. Hungry or not. All my neighbors have power except for me. The electrician was supposed to be out there yesterday and he didnt come. Maybe today he will come and fix our box so we can get our power on. It has been awful. Never did I think 9 days without power could be so bad. I am lucky though. Did you see what all Skippy did for us up here? She brought in a gas tanker for the employees, a catering service to feed us breakfast, lunch and supper, showers were brought in, cash advances were given out, washing machines were brought in, water, ice, paper products, anything to keep us going... She is also giving everyone 40 extra hours on their paychecks. Can you believe it. When she told me to give everyone those 40 hours, I just looked at her in awe... her eyes teared up --she knew she had done a good deed. Glad yall are okay... Dont leave again. We have missed you!
