i'AM OKAY
I was air vac out of Keesler , We were there with no power ,no nothing
for 2 days, .I'am in San Antonio,Tx. Leaving out today for my parents house in Baton Rouge ,La.
When I get ther I will write back to tell you more about Keesler and the shape is was in when they let my husband out of lockdown Thursday

Thank God !!! I was very concerned about you. And I am so glad you are okay !!!!! How about the rest of your family? Are they safe?
I am in New Iberia, LA, which is about 15 miles south of Lafayette, LA. We didn't get hardly any wind here and just a few showers on this side of the eye. You'll be ok in Baton Rouge, have you heard anything on the condition of your home back in Vancleave? I am heading home Sunday, come hell or high water I am going back. I enrolled my daughter in school here and she's going to stay as long as it takes to get things back to normal back home - which I am sure will be a while. No sense in making a five year old have to deal with this when my inlaws are willing to take care of her for the time being. This whole nightmare upset her quite a bit, she just started school and it's messed up her organized little life so much.
I got plenty of water to go back with me, and I am prepared to deal with the heat , misery of not having power or anything else, but I am at least glad to report that my hubby has been on the first bus back from Mayport, they are staying in Pensacola, they let them go to their homes in the morning and they have to be back on base in P'cola at night, so they can't sleep at home but at least they are allowed to go back and "DEAL" with stuff.
If you need any info, I'll be home Sunday, send me an email addie where I can reach you, to [email protected] and I will let you know as soon as I get back. I would need your address in Vancleave , which I don't have, but I'll gladly check it out if you haven't been able to get anything yet.
Your hubby had to stay , right? Just wondering , so I'm sure you know more than I do, just offering you help if you need it.
Take care and make sure you are well before you return home. You don't want to be home without safe water and power yet, since you're such a recent postie, please please please heal first before you come back to this mess.
