Sorry Billy, guess Barry has been on my mind since we haven't heard from him yet. Bear ,Moma Bear, and their cubs relocated before the storm to Prentis. They haven't checked in yet. I was sooooooooo relieved to hear about Wanda. Being a new post op and the area she lived was so hard hit really had me worried. When I saw the post that she was ok I cried. Think I need to stop watching so much of the TV, it's so depressing but I want to see it all ,as we have friends missing. I keep hoping I'll see them. Shepard Smith on TV is showing the strain, he's a native of Lousiana. Of course Geraldo is there inciting the people, making a name for himself, hope there is not a riot. Then again if I were there, I'd probably be one of the worse b****es they had to deal with. I get mean as a snake when I'm tired, hot,thirsty and hungry and if that includes my kids and grands Look out!!!!!!! My son said "Your like a Moma Bear, you would endanger yourself or kill to protect us and the grandgirls." So I can understand "the displaced"-(I hate the name refugees )anger and frustration. I do not understand why some have resorted to shooting, stealing(lets call it what it is-not looting), setting fires then shooting the firemen when they respond. They are Terroist and should be treated as such. Well I'll get off my soap box. I continue to pray for all of you.Queen Arlies I say a special prayer for you since you are my Angel.

Hi everyone! Things are okay here in Grenada - limbs and a few trees down; some power outages still; but otherwise ok. My prayers are with those of you still dealing with the aftermath of Katrina. On a bright note, I have a surgery date - Sept. 23rd. I almost hate to mention it with all that's going on, but I am excited. I start my liquid diet on Friday Sept. 9th.
