my dh 's car is 15 under water :sniff:

For those who do not know my dh works offshore. He leaves out of Venice La. and he was moved monday to Cameron La. and was there untill Wed. afternoon when they moved them to Leesville La. I was able to keep in contact with him through our cell, and they got air shots of Venice and most of it is gone. For those not sure where Venice is its 80-90 miles south of New Orleans. I told my dh that his car can be replaced and just as long as he is safe and we are fine and no damage to our house(some of our neighbors has tress through their houses) that we can say were were blessed. Sorry for the long story, i just got power back and just wanted to tell about dh's car. Michelle

Hello Michelle; I am glad to here that you are o.k. Car's can be replaced people can not. If you need anything, I live in Marion. I got power on Wed aroun d 7 p.m. I just got cable and internet today. So this is the first I have seen of any of the destruction. It is really bad. Stephanie Dumas
