Jasper Co./Bay Springs Mississippi?
Dame,
Here's a link to the local paper... http://www.topix.net/city/bay-springs-ms
I believe they have significant damage, but not total devastation. Don't quote me on that.

I live in Newton County, just about 10 miles above The Bay Springs area and things are pretty bad. Lots of trees down, some on houses, but no deaths or serious injuries, I know about. We are without power, water, or gas. Well we do have gas , but you have to sit in line for an hour or more and then they may run out before you get any. Still, we are in so much better shape than the Gulf Coast and New Orleans is in. We had reservastions for Today and tomorrow in New Orleans. Just glad we didn't go down early.
Hope this helps in your concern about the area. Let us know if you need to know any thing else, I will see if I can find out for you.
