Praying for the safety of...
My family will be sheltering at Keesler AFB. Unless they evacuate the entire base, which is unlikely. However, if they do, we will be headed East to Valdosta GA. Thanks for the prayers, Keep us in them...
I will be back to my online family as soon as possible. We will have to be sheltered by 11:00 a.m. on Monday morning but will have computer access the whole time, so I will keep everyone filled in.
Take Care!

Shelter? Keesler? must be nice. They just told us we are free to evacuate and we can go to Vancleave Sr High.. but I think I may leave after all, depending on the road situation, if it doesnt clear up by 4 am I aint going thru the ordeal of the I-10 parking lot again. Ivan was enough.
grrrr.. dontcha hate hurricanes? I'm starting to !
Everyone be safe!!!

Hey Folks
Just a little note to let everyone know , I also decided to get outta dodge ( aka Ocean Springs ) when it hit a category 4 this morning at 4 am. I 'm safe and sound in southcentral Louisiana, if anyone leaves, be warned, the interstates are all forcing you to go north. If you plan on leaving westward, take the back country roads. Took me an extra 2 hours than what it normally does, and now they are mandatorily evacuating New Orleans, so the main traffic is going to be hell. IF you havent left, inquire where your shelters are in the area. You may not be able to get out now. Hotels are booked all the way thru MS and LA, you have to get to AR and TX to get a room.
Take care everyone and stay safe!!!
