Suggestions for vitamins???????????????

This morning I tried the Centrum Silver chewables. They're the size of 50 cent pieces and are HORRIBLE! My DH laughed at all the faces I made Anyone tried the liquid vitamins?

Whatever you use dont use the vitamist..Its a joke.

Velna, I have been using Centrum Chewables for over a year now. I love them, orange flavored. Some people think they're disgusting. I like'em. Ya never know. Liquid vitamins? ewwwwww LOL I remember the smell of those when I used to have babies and put it in their milk. Yuck. ~Andie~

LOL Velna! I also use the Centrum chewables, orange. I like them. But alot of people just use the flintstones kids vitamins. I hate all liquid meds, although they are a necessary evil, but I couldn't imagine the liquid vitamins. They smell bad enough in pill form! HUGS! Kimberly

Hi Velna, I tried so many different kinds of vitamins...Either they was too big to swallow, they would just sit on top of the stoma until they dissolved (one of them took 3 hrs). Or either the chewables was so nasty that I would I even tried the liquid centrum. I took it for 3 days. Forced it down.. it was so nasty and needless to say I dumped on it. Then I read the contents.. it has alcohol in it and sugar... I finally found the VIACTIV chewables. They come in 2 flavors. My favorite is the Milk Chocolate. I love them. I can swallow horse sized pills so I have been taking walmart brand multis, but today I found a vitamin at Dollar General ($5 for 60 pills. take 2 per day so it's a month's worth) that has 100% of the calcium and iron you need plus all the other stuff. They are called "Bone Smart" and they are notched so that if they are too big, you can break them in half. I took my first ones today when I got home. I will let you know how I feel with them.
