Have a friend who designed evac routes - especially out of New Orleans into Mississippi - roads will begin to contraflow at 4:00pm today. This involves 55 and probably 59. Just a heads up.... HUGS! Kimberly

Yeah, you guys in Mississippi want to go Northeast or due east to stay out of it.

Actually.. little tip from the hurricane guru here < yeah right LOL > If you leave, try to get to the west side of the storm, most of the time there is only minimal wind ( sometimes hardly any ) and damage. If I leave, I head west, towards at least Lafayette LA, or Lake Charles, even Houston if necessary. Going east will bring you into the outer bands that bring the worst storms, tornadoes and torrential rainfall, guys !!! Everyone please be safe and REMEMBER YOUR PETS!!! Don't leave them out in the rain or by themselves. ~Andie~
