Looks like another visit is coming

Saw the hurricane on the news, unfortunately looks like it is coming your way! Guess most of you are gonna get ready soon as they say it might be a 3 or 4, but I hope that is not the case!!!!!

We are keeping a close eye on it. If it still looks like it is heading this way by tomorrow afternoon, I think my son and I are going to hit the road, just don't know where we are going to go yet! I never know where to go when these things are coming, anywhere to get away from the coast! Any suggestions from any of my Northern MS friends? Got an extra bedroom???? Rhonda

You can use it as an excuse to come and see me. Not promising that if it hits MS you will be much better off here as far as having power goes because if you guys get it we do too since we are only an hour or so away from the coast. But we got candles and flashlights. Melissa

We may take you up on that. Julian will have to stay on base to help with clean up. I am not sure at this point, what Brandon and I will do. I am not leaving unless they make us! I left for the last two or three and we got nothing from it, we live a mile from the beach, and are in a brick house, so we should be okay. We may just shelter on base with Julian. We are not messing around either. We will finish boarding up tomorrow and hit the road. I have everything ready to put in the car. We live 2 blocks from the beach in Waveland so I am sure the house will be gone.

Do you know where you guys are heading? Wherever you go, be careful! Hopefully it will miss us again! If it doe**** us head on, hopefully it will weaken before it gets here. Keep your eyes on the weather. The traffic is going to be bad so be prepared! Take Care, Rhonda

Hey Cheryl I'm looking at that weather report and I am just bored with living in Hurricane Country at this time. I've left for Ivan and I left for the last one ( whatever the name was... hmm.. I'm getting forgetful haha). THIS ONE I am riding out. I don't feel like having to battle the millions of cars again this time, since New Orleans is probably going to evacuate and we all know THAT IS GOING TO WREAK HAVOC ON OUR ROADS!! I will seek shelter at one of the local places they open IF they force an evacuation but I 'm not leaving again. No Ma'am. I think today I am just going to relax and head on down to the Beach in Biloxi - who knows it may not be there next week Jus****ched the weather channel and their weather guy, Jim Cantore is in Biloxi, one more reason to head on down to the beach hehe Anyways. If any of you coasties feel like coming to my house, feel free. Just bring food for your kids ~Andie~
