Insurance needs to change

Folks, According to this article, Mississippi has the most obesity in the nation. If so why don't the Blues and other insurances cover WLS??????????? Doesn't it make sense to pay for the surgeries and have healthier people than pay for years for obesity related health problems!!!!! It does make sense to have healthier insured persons. I wish they would make it easier to have this done. I know it has given me my life back and I would do it all over again. I absolutely agree.. one surgery could save them thousands and thousands of dollars down the line. But hey, that's health insurance for you. I don't wonder about it any more, I just give up on it. It goes along the same line as the matter of birth control. They'll pay for a baby to be born, but they refuse to pay for the pill? What 's cheaper?
