Luncheon Today

I had a blast and I hope everyone else did too. It was great being in the same room with all of yall again. We really must do it more often. I think of every one of you as family. Becky, we missed you terribly. I am so sorry about your car and that you had to be in that heat. It is super hot and I feel for you. Everyone has changed so much since the last time I saw them. Even Arlies and Angie B who we saw just last week. Frederica was so cute in her pink top. I just wanted to grab it and run. I love pink. I am thrilled you could come... Tammy and Johnny are a hoot as always. He was kind enough to share his french fries. They were so good. Last time I will see Tammy before her surgery so next time she will be a loser!! Dawn and Rhonda have totally changed. Dawn, you look great.. keep it up and get you some new britches... them was falling off. Rhonda, I am jealous of your skinny little self. You look so good. We had 2 members from our usual support board come that yall probably didnt know but they are 2 of the ones we like at our support group. I hope yall got to visit with them a little bit. They are joys to be around. Keli and her cousin came. Keli got a bad date on her sleep study. I hope she called Janet today and got it fixed. Denise got her belly rubbed by all so maybe we will have a baby soon. I know we will... keep that chin up and be nice to Wally even when you arent ovulating. You cant spoil him like that and then leave him hangin!! Jane looks mahvelous... 90 pounds gone! Go Jane.. I hope the meds the doctor put you on help you some. Please keep us updated. Melissa came in and brightened up the group with her gorgeous smile and skinny self. I am glad you were able to make it. I know what stresses you are under at work. As always, thank you for sharing with me and keeping me in line (ya know.. taking the other half of the candy away).. I cant wait to see the pictures Rhonda... load em up on picture trail so we can see them and get what we want... Hurry hurry. Some of those folks need those pics for their posting photo. For those who got the Amberjack ---we sure do hope you liked it. Take heart in knowing that it is very high in protein and very low in cals... Love you all... Lets do it again! Christine

I really enjoyed lunch today too. It was great getting to see everyone. I wish we had had more time to visit. Maybe we can do this again some time soon. I have been so busy and stressed with work that I have not been on the board much so I felt a little out of the loop today. But maybe I can read through everything I missed tonight and get myself all caught up. I love all you guys and appreciate all the support and friendship. Melissa

I had a great time today and so did my cousin. She just kept starring at Melissa and saying over and over...nooo she was never big And Denise you have a new fan...she talked about you the whole way home! I was soooo excited about today cuz I finally got to meet Rhonda, Dawn, Arlies, Angie Bea, and Tammykins!!!! And all of us got to meet the beautiful Frederica! If Rhonda and Dawn hadn't been standing beside each other I wouldn't of reconized them! They look so different from their pictures. Same with Angie Bea. Beautiful and very fun ladies. I gave Tammy and Arlies big huge hugs...hope ya'll don't have neck pain tonight! And of course our very own Hattiesburg lovelys Christine and Melissa ... looking gorgous as always! I got an education on the wonderfulness of liquid lortab from the two skinny minny's Denise and Jane. Ya'll are looking so good! I did call Janet about that crazy a$$ sleep study date *january 4th for those who didn't know* and Janet was not happy with this date. I told her to go speak with with Dr. Whitehead and convince him I didn't need this silly thing and that I wanted surgery before the end of the year to which she replied...You will have it! She's going to call me back in the morning and let me know what he decided, so I'll post more about that when I find out. On the next meeting up thing...we got a full month before the big bash I say we head down to the coast! It's only fair after all and besides they have casinos ...with poker!! Anyways had a great time today ladies can't wait to do it again! Keli

Girl, we have a full 2 mos before the October bash. I am restricted from the casinos after my last trip. Haha... It does sound fun. I couldnt live on the coast. I would really be poor all the time. I hope Dr. Whitehead okays you to have it without the sleep study. I dont think his first 16 patients had to have them and some were much larger than you. Maybe they will not make you do it or at least see if they can get it moved up.

Hey Keli Arghh.. I'm so jealous I couldn't go to the luncheon ( Why on earth did they invent work anyways?? ). Everyone looks so awesome! I know looking at some of them, it just doesn't seem real that they once were that big, huh? Now about the sleep study...That's just insane that they wouldnt be able to do yours before Jan 4th. Ridiculous !! IMHO, that sleep study thing is just another waste of insurance money. Sure some people may need that CPAP, but let's face it, you survived this long without a machine, why bother with it now? And not long after surgery you probably won't need the machine any more so it's really wasted money. Something we could all just do without, wasting insurance money that could be used to pay for someone else to have surgery that was declined, huh? Something to think about. I never had a sleep study. Thank goodness. I have sleep problems anyways LOL Theres no way I could fall asleep hooked up to wires. No, Sir'ee! Anyways.. I'm all for the casino meeting. If something comes up, y'all let me know , I'll take a day off if I can. Can't be a monday or tuesday or friday though. Those days are impossible to get. HUGSSSSSSSSSSS ~Andie~

We had a blast also. We've got to get together & do it again. I think Johnny thought he was "King Of The Hill". Everybody looked wonderful. No matter where they are in their journey. And I want to tell everyone who brought me samples, left overs, etc.... THANK YOU !!! I am very greatfull to each & every one of you. Also... I'd like to Thank my hubby for breaking my fingernail !!! Now my hands look funny. Well.... Funny-er. And it's tender !!! I guess b/c I haven't "used" my finger tip in a long time. Oh well.... This should be good for a weeks worth of extra petting OH OH OH... Did anyone else see the dessert tray when they walked out ? Arlies & I could have Hi-Jacked that sucker. Even if she couldn't eat it, I still can for now. That stuff looked great !!! Tammy

Girl, we have to look at that dessert tray enough! Now when I walk by it I just turn the other way. It looks too yummy! My finger nails are so brittle I dont feel them when they break. I can only tell when they grab my clothes or something. I feel fer ya though cause having 9 long ones and a short one just dont cut it. Johnny better get to rubbing them feet.

I had a blast today girls, NO not the one from Sonic!LOL but i was almost as much fun!haha It was great to meet everyone that i hadnt before and to see all of ya'll again that i have met before. I loved the amberjack, wish i could eat it everyday. Becky i sure hate that about your car and i wanted to see ya, i sent you three pair of drawers 2 jeans and 1 black boot cut chinos thats all i could find left in my closet, the rest of my stuff is in some other gals closet !! GRRRRRR i need some 14's !!!!! dawn

I had a blast today too. It is always so much fun to meet new people and share experiences. Christine & Melissa, you two look marvelous as usual. Jane, keep your chin up, hopefully the problem you are having will go away soon, you are doing so good with your weight loss. Arlies and Angie Bea it was so great to see the both of you again and you two are doing so wonderful, looking great!! Denise & Fredricka, it was so nice to meet the both of you! Tammy & Johnny, You two are as much of a hoot in person as you are online and I am so happy that I finally got to meet you! You are all dear friends and I love you all! I can't wait until October when we can spend the whole weekend together yacking away. Can't wait until the next time!! Rhonda
