Your my new best friend, Donna... haha... Alot of people do not recognize me. We visited a church a few weeks ago and one of Emilys friends parents would not talk to me and I couldnt figure out why. She cornered Emily and asked who I was and Emily said "Thats my mom" --the lady said "Step mom" and EMily said "No, my mom - she is skinny now"... so she came over and started talking to me. She said "I could not figure out who you were and why you kept talking to me"... haha... she felt bad and was floored over my weight loss. She wasnt someone I talked to all the time just on occassion but it was funny. I wonder how many people think hubby has ditched me for a new wife. Haha... I guess I dont realize how different I look. I see me in that mirror. I almost get offended when people dont recognize me but 113 pounds can be dramatic I guess. Ill take being offended anyday over being fat. I am glad you are back. Dont stay gone another 2 mos. We were looking for you alot. We had lots of "Wheres Donna Looser" posts. Email me your phone number if you want and we can chat sometime. Hey Velna; I some what know how you feel . I'am having my surgery on August 24. That after 10 months of tests ,doctor appts,labs,er visit. My surgery is also a revision ,but it is from a bad surgery (like where they take the doctor licence away) and because of this I have two hernia that need to be repaired. I have never told anyone other than the doctor and my family the whole story until now ,but If it help to put your mind it ease Iam glad to help. If you need any more help you can email me. Wanda

Wanda, I'm glad you're having your revision soon. Mine was not from a bad surgery or gastric bypass but from a hiatal hernia repair. It went well and my bariatric doctor said it's no big problem, the surgery will take longer but can be done laproscopic. I was afraid it would have to be an open case and was so relieved. I'll be praying for you on the 24th of August. E-mail me and we can talk. It must have really put you through Hades and back. The doctor lost his licence? Whooowhee. Here's to him from you and me...
