OT We need prayer

Well guys I just wanted to catch you up on my life. Last Tues August 2, 2005 my Dad had a seizure. He stayed in ICU until Fri. He developed a staff infection in the blood while at the hospital some how. They got him on meds and he was realeased from the hospital (jail as he calls it) on Mon. While he was in ICU they found a spot on his lung they did a CT of the lung and it said it was possible cancer. He met with his lung doctor Wed and they are to a biospy tomarrow Aug 11 at 8:00 am at Rush Hospital in Meridian. PLEASE PLEASE pray for my Daddy. I am now laid off from my job as I told yall earlier, So I told Mom that God must think that we are really strong for us to be going all this. Pray for us.... Love yall Joyce

Hey Joyce, Im sorry to hear you are having such a hard time. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. Just remeber God doesn't put anything on us that he knows we can't handle. As I was reading your post, the verse from Jeremiah 29:11 came to me, its where God says " I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you but to give you a hope and a future." Joyce, you know I have a very, very soft spot for your Daddy. I am very upset to hear all this news about him. He and you and family are all at the top of my prayer list. My sister, Shirley Murphy, works at Rush. If you need ANYTHING, please have them page her (most of the folks know her) and tell her who you are. Does Daddy have Dr. Gray? He is incredible. He was JIm's surgeon and also my Sissie-in-law's surgeon. He is the BEST. Also remember that Psycho Doc is at Rush's too in the pain clinic. My Sissie-in-law just went thru a lung biopsy about two weeks ago and she had a dime size spot and they were CERTAIN it was cancer - like your Dad, she is a HEAVY smoker- but it wasn't anything....So we are gonna work on a miracle for you too. Remember I love you and tell your Dad I love him too, and tell him I said, he BETTER get well because I sure would like to have another giggle or two with him.
