well girls not happy!!!

i found out yesterday that my pain in my side was definately gallstones.and i will be having surgery thursday morning at 9 am at forrest general and dr whitehead will be doing it!!! not very excited about it but i got on his scale and i lost 2 more lbs and 5 more since i saw him last im at my surgeons goal!!!i want to lose 20 more so we shall see and we have a contract on our house so we will be getting ready to build our house im really excited we picked out the house plans today!!only draw back is that we will have to live in an apatment for about 6 months but atleast we will have pool access everyday.....thats where i will be!!! anyway ladies gotta go start dinner and my side is killing me im ready for thur to get here! i will post on fri when i get home and let u guys know how its going. talk to ulater crystal 229/147/125

Oh Crystal, I hate that you are going to have to have surgery but girl you will feel soooooooooo much better and at least gall bladder surgery is a snap these days. When I had mine about 17 years ago I was cut from side to middle of stomach. i was in hospital for a full week and off work for six weeks. Your recoup should not be long at all. Hi Crystal, I second what Denise said, you will feel SO MUCH BETTER. I had my gall bladder out in '01, and it was a breeze. They only kept me over night because I had to travel 6 hours when I got out of the hosp. Good luck, Hugs, Connie

thanks u guys yeah i hope so and ill be able to eat too! i wont have to watch burger king commercial on tv and wish i could eat REAL food!i hope im on the 7th floor again they were so nice.he said i sould go home fri barring any complications which he said he didnt for see and it will be done lap so no long recovery thank goodness.anyway thanks ladies and i will post to let u know when i make it home. crystal 229/147/125

I figured that is what it was. You will feel much better when it is all over. I had mine taken out in Dec 2004 and it was a snap. It was even done outpatient. I had the surgery around 11:00 in Mobile and was on my way home at 5:00 that afternoon. Mine was done on a Friday, and I went back to work on Tues. of the very next week. So you will do fine.
