Lettin' it all hang out!
Hey guys!
It's time for me to come clean and tell all! (I shared with Sonya tonight)
If you've seen my other posts, you know that I had my surgery 4/01/04 and I stopped at 60 lbs lost! I'm trying not to get down about that, but it's really sickening!! I didn't know about this message board or any other local support so I was on my own and went back to my stressful life and back to my old habits (little by little trying things and eating what I shouldn't).
I got back on the bandwagon 2 weeks ago (started using this message board and started walking w/my bud Sonya) I am currently at 245.5lbs!! (There it is, I said it!!!) What is good about that is that is 6 lbs less than it was a week ago and 11 lbs less than 2 weeks ago!!
Please pray with/for me that I will stick with it!! I want to be less than 200 by Christmas!
I will have another trying time tomorrow! I will be facilitating a training session on the coast where we give candy for prizes and have lunch w/deserts. I think I will be okay, but I am a little concerned b/c in the past, I grazed and ate whatever all day long. We have plenty of water and I'm taking my protein bars for snacks.
Hey we all mess up. I am glad that I found this message board before I have surgery or I could make the same mistake. Thanks for coming clean. It is wonderful how being truthful will help you get back on the program. Good luck and I hope that you make the 200 or less by Christmas.

Hey Joy - just wanted to tell you how glad I am that you have started walking with Sonya. I have not had surgery yet, but have learned so much from the wonderful friends I have found on this board . You will definately find encouragement, support, and true friendship here. Good luck today with your training session!

WOW!!!!!! You are doing GREAT!!!! (Go Joy ) I will pray for you today with what you are facing. I know you can do it I know you have the will power and strength!!! You are doing so good. 11 pounds in 2 weeks... that is so fab. Keep it up. It takes about a month for something to become routine, so hang in there... it will get easier everyday!!
Congrats and Hugs,
Connie
