any post ops have this?

for 2 days i have been having this pain on my right side about at my waist. i dont think its gallbladder bc the pain is too low and i havent had anyother symptoms except for some gas more than usual. i have a call into janet but i havent heard from her yet kinda worried can anyone help? thanks crystal 229/149/125

I did not equate my right side pain with my gallbladder because it did not seem to be the right spot for that. But low and behold my gallbladder was full of stones and going bad fast. I had an ultrasound on Dec 13, 2004 and they took that sick gall bladder out that Friday Dec. 17. I did not have other symptoms either at first. Then as the stones and infection got worse the other symptoms started to show up. I mean they thought I had an ulcer at first because they did not think gallbladder either with what I was describing, but the ultrasound told the story. And after they took it out I have been fine ever since. So good luck. Let me know what they say. I will be thinking about you. Melissa

Hey Crystal, Sorry to hear you arent feeling well. Just a thought it just might be a kidney stone to. I know I have had about 5 kidney stone attacks in the past three years or so and they is exactly where I hurt. I had my gallbladder out about 15 years ago so I cant remember that pain to relate it sorry. I can tell you that I do remember I felt awful when I would have a gallstone attack to though and I also remember how wonderful I felt after they took it out. Let us know what is going on. i dont have any pain when i go to the bathroom although i am teeteeing more than usual but a normal amount is coming out each time not like a bladder infection or anything i have no idea.but im sure ill have to go up there and have a full days worth of tests...thats always fun!!! all i can say is that if i have to have another surgery dr whitehead WILL be doing it. i dont want anyone else going in there and messing up what he did!!janet called and said she has no idea but that she will talk to dr whitehead and let me know what to do.thanks for the support girls. crystal
