Tell me about your Monkey Bread. I have made if from canned biscuits, cinnamon and sugar in the past, but never sugar free. How do you do it? Susan Hughes

I wrote it all out so I would remember what I did. It is kind of long so I will bring you a copy of my recipe at next support group. It is really easy. The recipe is long because in it I explain how to make brown sugar using splenda and how to make conf. sugar using splenda, equal, and corn starch. It is not as ooey gooey as the regular kind but it is very tasty. My MIL is visiting and she loved it. My kids loved it. I took some to my sister and BIL this morning for them to taste test. They loved it. Melissa

Melissa, Can you make copies for everybody pleeeeze? (or email?) It sounds WONDERFUL! Do you go to the support group in Hattiesburg? I will be attending for the first time this month! B: 1/2 C Fibre one cereal (1/4 C milk) S: Snickers marathon protein bar L: 1/2 C grilled chicken & a little lettuce and sal. dressing (see "Success Story below!) S: snickers marathon protein bar & breyers starberry popcicle D: 3/4 C apple, 1tbs PB grill cheese Success Story: You guys helped me again today!!! I went with my church and took my two boys (ages 4 & 8) along with my 8 yr old neice (God help me!) to the Aquarium of the America's and the Imax theatre. They only had 2 lunch places to eat (Burger King and Papa Johns). I was tired, stressed out, and hungry! I don't like Ceasar salad, but it was the healthiest thing I saw so I ordered it and just ate the chicken, a little cheese, and some lettuce (w/a little dressing). On the way back from New Orleans, I was tired, thirsty, (and still stressed w/ a HUGE headache) and I wanted something to drink BAD (I wanted caffein and not necessarily the SF kind) BUT, I didn't do it! Since my throat hurt and I was thirsty I got a strawberry frozen fruit bar and water! Thinking of you guys (and especially my bud Sonya) has kept me pretty much on the straight and narrow! THANK YOU!!! We also just finished walking 3 miles (Go Sonya and Joy!) JY

I do go to the Hattiesburg support group meetings. I have only missed one since my surgery and that was when I had my gall bladder surgery. I am looking forward to meeting you and Sonya both. You guys seem like two really wonderful people. I am proud of you for trying so hard to get back on track. It can be a tough journey sometimes. Hang in there. We are here for you. Melissa

Save me a copy! I will be on vacation and will miss the next support group meeting. I live just a few miles from you, maybe I could pick a copy up at your house or at your work. Think my husband would really like that. Susan

I have not eaten at Quizno's ever because I did not realize they had anything but sandwiches, and I do not do well with much bread. I love broccoli and cheese soup. I will have to go there and try it. What other soups do they have there? Good for you walking your 3 miles. I am glad to know that you are feeling so much better. Melissa
