EGD

Hi everyone! I had my EGD this a.m. Wasn't bad at all. I never even saw my doctor. I was out when he came in and out when he left. (He did talk to my daughter.) I found out I have a hyetial hernia. Didn't have a clue about that. He said they would take care of it when they do the other surgery. I also had a vena cava filter put in. That was a little painful, but not too bad. At least it didn't last long. I didn't know I'd have to lay down for 3 hrs. after the procedure, but I did. So I had a nice nap before they brought me lunch. The nurses at the Baptist Hospital in Oxford are so nice. They took very good care of me. I'm glad to have this behind me. It helps a little with the nerves over having surgery. Anyway, just wanted to check in. Hope everyone is doing okay. Deborah Ray
