Prayer Request For Arlies

Please keep Arlies & her family in your prayers. I just got off the phone with her & Jon was robbed tonight at gun point. As you may know Jon is her son. He's 21 & living here in Meridian since he goes to school here. Jon was over visiting with a few friends at the friends house. While sitting on the porch a few guys came up talking to them. They left, but came back later with a gun & told everyone to get in the house that they were going to rob them & then kill them. Thankfully they just robbed them & nobody was hurt. However, everyone is scared to death & with good reason.

Good grief. You hear of robberies at gunpoint at stores and such but at your own home you feel pretty safe. That is horrible. I guess everyone is pretty scared and shaken up. Boy, I know I would be for sure. I am sorry to hear about that. I will definitely keep them in my prayers. Melissa

In Jesus name, we lift up Jon, Arlies, and the many friends and family members that this has affected. Lord, we ask for calmness and peace. We also pray that the authorities will be able to identify these persons and bring them to jusitce so that the guys will think twice before commiting another crime. OMG.... That is scary! It is a shame that you can't be safe in your own home! I am thankful that everyone is okay, and I do hope that the cops catch the suspects!! Please tell Arlies that I love her and that she is in my thoughts and prayers!! Love, Rhonda

Thanks Tammy for letting us know about Arlies! I hate that happened to Jon! Poor Arlies was already so stressed about her move! I am thankful that nobody was hurt, that is a blessing in itself! Marci

That is really scary. I am so thankful everyone is okay. Do they know who the people were? Seems like they would if they just walked up and started talking to them... Scary!

Thank God for being with the gun man and letting him think better of hurting anyone... and Thank God he was with Jon and helped him remain calm. Thoughts and love going out to Arlies and her family!
