7/29/05 Exercise Update
Hey everyone!
Joy and I walked tonight. It started to rain. We did not get to walk very long. I walked little over a mile and a half. I have promised myself that I am going to exercise everyday. Please do not let me slide! If I do not post my exercise for the day, chew me out! I need people to make me be accountable. You all have been so supportive!
Thanks,
Sonya Sumrall
I did not do any formal exercise but I exercised all day long and I am absolutely worn out so I hope it counts as exercise. I left my house at 7:30 this morning and took my son shopping for school supplies and school clothes. We walked the mall several times. Then I took him home and went and picked up my husband's best friends 10 yr old daughter and went back to the mall where I stayed 4 hrs shopping for her school clothes (mom is gone right now and dad no clue how to buy for a girl). Then we left and went to some other stores to finish her up. We loaded her up but my feet are tired. So I know I walked several miles with all the shopping and back and forth and up and down the mall and everywhere else. So I hope that mall walking while shopping counts as exercise because it sure feels like it LOL. Whew, I am given out. But I know that I never could have done all I did today with those kids if I had not lost this weight so for that I am very greatful. I had a blast.

Melissa,
You are so nice. I was raised by my dad. I loved it when someone's mom would help me pick out my clothes. It is so scary to ask someone so I always waited for someone to ask dad if they could take me shopping. You are an angel!!!
I'm sure you burned more than enough calories in Mall. Keep up the good work!
Best Wishes,

I enjoyed taking her. She was so excited. I got her alot of clothes and five pairs of shoes. And I brought her father some change back. He said that I was first woman to ever admit there was change LOL. I hit some major deals and sales at that mall. She is fixed up good. Her dad said she called him 5 or 6 times after she got home to tell him something else she remembered. So I am glad that I took her.
He had told me he wanted her to look pretty for shcool starting and he really had no clue. Plus she is at the age where she needed a bra. So he couldn't do that. So we got her some undies and I helped find the right bras for her. She was really glad Dad didn't have to try and do that. She is 10 yrs old.

Sonya you are doing so good. Your walking is great. I am gonna go to the gym Saturday and try to do a little bit for awhile. I didnt do anything today. The weather was nasty and I was just worn out when I got home.
I plan on going to the Y early and working for awhile and then when it cools down I will go walk at the track. If it rains I will pull out my Denise Austin tape. Yall putting on here what yall do makes me want to do it too. Getting in the routine is the hard part.
The Y in Hattiesburg is such a treat! I had my birthing classes there. You are so lucky to have an exercise center close by. I have no excuse. Right across the street.... about 40 yards from my front door is a place that has toning tables where the tables work you out. Down street about half a mile is the Sportsplex which has an indoor pool, weight lifting, and a walking track. I must stay on track! I am going to count on all of you to get me moving each day.
Good luck on your workout, today!!!
