You do eventually get your appetite back and are able to eat more normal portions. The surgery is a tool that helps you change your habits. It's up to us to make the "life change" and learn to NOT rely on the bypass. Be sure to come to the CMMC support group meeting the second Tuesday of August. There will be a doctor that has had the surgery, and fell of the wagon, resulting in a 50 pound weight gain, but is back on track and losing again. He will be talking about his experience. It will be at the allied health building at cmmc. (the nursing school) They said just go to the front entrance and follow the signs. HUGS Kimberly
