Weeeeeeee and a question...
well i started thinking about surgery last spring finally went to the seminar in may and had an appt shortly after that. did all the psych eval and nutrionist stuff. and after they got all that to the ins i was aproved in alike a week....i was so shocked bc janet had told me that united healthcare prob would make me do a 6 month dr supervised diet but they didnt.i got all that back probably in june but it came so quick that i was scared to death and told janet that i would have to think about it bc i was so scared for my kids. well toward the end of july we went to six flags with my husbands family and i walked around that place pouring with sweat and barely able to breathe, but that wasnt the kicker....i went to get on the batman ride and my butt barely fit on the seat and thats when i knew i had to do this bc everything else hadnt worked and i couldnt go on lively in misery that way and making my children live that way bc they suffered too. i came back that next week and called janet and said i was ready for a date and i was intially scheduled for sept then christine messed me up(j/k christine) and i had mine moved back to oct 14(the first day of the rest of my life).so with all that being said no matter how long ins takes or if they dont pay.....dont give up!

Ann was awesome! She's so sweet and stuff. I was all talky and bubblely...I think I made her nervous She was very impressed with how much I knew about the eating and stuff ... granted I have most of ya'll to thank for that! She freaked me out with the gum thing which I'm gonna say here so everyone knows, forgive me if it's a repeat. Anyway after surgery gum is EVIL and scary....if swallowed it more then likely will get stuck and you'll be back in the OR getting gutted again.
My insurance said that for them to approve it had to be medically necessary and I had to do a 3 month dr. supervised diet thingy and July is my 3rd month. I checked the insurance bit on here and just about everyone with my insurance was approved on first try. Sooo I'm hopeful that won't be a big big issue.
My goodness I am so ready to have a date I'm about to explode! ahhhhh But at least now I feel like the ball is rolling and I'm not just wishing to have surgery but actually doing things to make it happen. So that helps...some lol
