Hey Everybody!!

Sorry I haven't posted in a while. We've just been so swamped @ work. Just wanted to let everyone know my divorce is in the works. Hubby should receive the papers one day this week. I've already signed them. You know the strangest thing?? The day we split, he told me he knew when I had this surgery that when I started losing weight this would happen. And I thought, what would happen?? I would find confidence and realize that life is not meant to be lived miserably with a DOG like him?? It amazes me at the stories I hear where there is a divorce not long after WLS. Just wanted to update everyone!! Love ya'll!!!

Hey Amanda, Like you, sometimes I wonder about those who put up with abuse or neglect in relationships and can't understand why they rather live in misery than to get up off their behind and stand up for themselves. If you can't make things work out, if you're the only one putting into a relationship and you don't get anything back, it's best to end it before it gets worse and worse. Good for you, you've obviously seen the problem and you're moving on. WLS isn't the cause of divorces, but it's probably the wake up call some people need, to realize that they DO deserve better, they ARE worth more than that and they CAN be happy with someone who truly loves them for who they are. You sound like you're happier with the way your life is progressing at this time. Good for you , you know where to find us if you need any help ~Andie~
