WHAT DO YOU ALL DO EVER DAY.TO MAKE THE DAYS PASS BY

Hi Fredrica! I work for the State - Administrative Assistant. I am at work from 7:30am-4:30pm, then it is time to go to get the kids from daycare (2 boys - 3 yrs & 9 yrs). Things are like a roller coaster at my house until around 8:30pm when I get the kids washed and in bed, then I have my quiet time! Marci

HI MARCI WHO DID YOUR SURGERY

Unfortunately I have not had surgery as of yet. I have been trying to find a Dr. that will take Vocational Rehab. There are only two so far that I can find, one is not accepting any new patients for 1 year, and the other has a two year waiting list. I am just patiently waiting for a break-through with one of these doctors. Have a GREAT Day! Marci

I work... Sometimes the day drags and sometimes I am so busy that I cant think straight. Like today... What do you do?

Hi Fredrica, I work part-time three days a week managing the credit union at the hospital in Grenada. The rest of the time I take care of my 9 y/o daughter and all our pets (2 dogs, 4 cats, 2 kittens). Hannah has ADHD, so there is never a dull moment around here. She's always got something going on. I also like to work in my flower beds, though my weight makes it harder these days. Hope you're having a good day / night. Deborah

I've been home with the kids for about 5 years. I found a hobby/business in making soap. I enjoyed the therapy of it and sold it for $5 a bar. It was beautiful stuff and smelled like heaven. I still have all the frangrances and make a batch occasionally for myself and gifts. When all but my youngest were in school, I went to the gym everyday which was great. I shopped, had breakfast/lunches with my friends, cleaned the house. I did morning bible studies at my church with the other at-home Mommies and retirees. It was a great support situation with younger moms being mentored by older moms whose children were grown. When my youngest went to kindergarten this past year, I was lonely and bored to death! I started seeing more patients for a rehabilitation agency here in town and love it. My work schedule varies but the agency usually calls on Fridays to schedule the next week's availability. It is the best job ever! I don't get to the gym like I used to but I'm going to change that in the Fall and go directly to the Y when I drop my kiddos at school. If I work that day, I'll have to flex. I still do all the other fun stuff I mentioned, I just schedule it with my friends in advance and don't accept work on that day. I let the recruiter know I'm already booked for that day. You must find a constructive hobby if you find your days are not full. Food calls to me when I am not busy. I work for the Sheriff. M-F, 8-5. Sometimes it's crazy here and other days I hardly see a soul. Those are the days I play here. What do you do? Melinda

I work full time at an out patient mental health facility. I file priv. insurance for our patients. Some times can be really heatic and other days kinda laggin. Denise

Hello Fredrica, How are you doing? I been praying and thinking about your journey alot. I keep busy by working as a School Counselor at West Jones Elem. in Laurel. I have a 4 year old girl and 7 year old boy at home and a stepdaughter that is in Kansas. My husband and I both have off during the summer so we have played with them most of the time. I had surgery on July 14th. But... I am back to the goofying off until Monday when I have to return to work. Sonya Sumrall
