Push Mowing
My riding lawnmower is broken, so I got out about 12:30 today and started push mowing. That lasted about an hour. It was brutal. But at least I don't feel guilty about not getting my walking in this morning. The bad part is I still have about half the yard to do. So I came in and cooked lunch and decided to do some laundry and fold some clothes till later on this afternoon. I'll tackle the rest of the yard right before dark.
My husband is very possessive over the push mower. I am FORBIDDEN to use it. If I offer to mow the grass he instantly gets up and does it. He doesnt want me to do it. He is afraid I will break the mower. Ticks me off. I kinda like to mow but I aint gonna push mow our yard. Too much..
I have been washing clothes all week and finally decided to fold them. I couldnt sit on the sofa so I guess that was a big sign to fold them. I have all the socks in the dryer and I am not looking forward to that. I guess I better get in there and do it though so I can free up my dryer.
Good luck to you on your lawn... if ya feel froggy come on over and do mine.
I push mowed my lawn today and boy was it hot. And I have a big yard and it just seemed to keep growing on me as I was mowing LOL. There wasn't a dry stitch on me. That is what I get for doing it in the middle of the day. I think waiting until right before dark is a much better, smarter plan. I think I will do that next time.
Melissa
I don't know Melissa, I waited until late yesterday afternoon to work on my back yard and I was more soaked than when I did it at noon. It wasn't as hard, seemed like, but I still soaked a good t-shirt. And I still didn't get finished. Got some raking to do before I can mow one spot, am going to try and finish this afternoon.
