Lisa, I would try to take an ice chest and pack up the things you know you can eat. Take easy things like crackers, peanuts and the easy foods you can eat. Try to eat at places where you can eat too. Good luck. I hope ya'll have a fun and safe trip. Becky

I took my Special K and my carb countdown--I had that every morning. I ate 2 Nabs for snack alot too. I ate veggies and soup at most resturants. Shoney's is good for that. If you order out pizza you could try eating some spaghetti. I can eat a teaspoon or 2 but that is all. It doesn't go down well for me. As for as getting in protein I didn't do well on vacation. I did though stay satisfied and even munched on 4 or 5 cheetos on the road. That is about what I can hold at the time. Just a few suggesetions. Jane Oh yeah I took cream of ? soups and that helped me at night at the room. There was a microwave.

I would suggest that if you can drink the protein shakes, take them with you just in case you can't find anything to eat while there. At least this way you will know that you have something you can tolerate while out of town. Plus it will prevent your having to run some down while there. Anything that you know you can eat, take some of it with you in a cooler. All of the rooms I have stayed in while there had friges & microwaves in them. If your does, you could stock up enough at a local grocery store to tide you over till you get home. This will make it work out great when you go out to eat, if you can't handle their food, no problem just go to your room & take care of it. And when it is time to leave & head back home, pack it all up & bring it with you. Hope this helps out some. And I hope that you have a wonderful time. Tammy

cup-a-soups, potted meat, jerky (EUUU), fat-free crackers, peanut butter, nuts - namely cashews, and lots of bottled water. Have fun! Smoochies Arlies PS in restuarants, I ordered baked potatoes (loaded with cheese for me, but they could leave out the cheese, butter and sourcream....try ranch dressing instead on it.)
