I hope it doesn't. I don't really know but one person who is farther out than that. My friend is going on 7 years and has kept the weight off. I have heard of others being 10 or more years out and have kept the weight off but don't know any of them personally. So I just don't know. I am banking on keeping mine off forever. I am gonna try like he** anyway. I have kept it off since December of last year with no regain so far. So far so good. I hope and pray that it don't. I think alot of it has to do with how well you apply yourself. Kinda like my doc told me the surgery is just a tool not a cure and you have to learn how to use it. Meaning you have to always eat right and excerise in order to get the max benefits from the surgery. Becky

My doctor's nurse had the surgery 20 years ago. She is still in a size 10. She still watches what she eats. Deborah

I have not had the surgery yet, but I sure hope that it doesn't. It should not come back IF we eat the way we are suppose to. I wouldn't worry about that too much as long as you do what the doctor tells you to do. In MHO the one's who have to worry are the ones who are over eatting already at just a few months out or they are eatting things they should not be.

I REALLY hope not. I think alot of it depends on how well you behave after surgery and trust me you don't have a whole lot of choice about behaving if you are like MOST folks! Smoochies Arlies
