Info on Dr. King

Thanks to you all for your replies. I am excited about the possibility of having surgery, but I don't want to ru**** This is something that God has put before me. I have prayed and asked Him to put a roadblock up if this is not His will, but so far everything has gone so smoothly. I feel good about Dr. King. Everyone has praised him so. I've not heard anything negative about him or his staff. I am a little nervous about the prospect of surgery. I have battled my weight all my life and it has been my security blanket and emotional protection for so long. It will be hard to give it up, but I want to be here for awhile yet. I am a widow with two daughters - 26 and 9. I don't want my 9 y/o to go through losing another parent. She's had a hard time dealing with her dad's death. That's one reason I'm doing this. I also just want to feel better and be able to do the things I'm not able to do anymore. There comes a time when you have to decide to turn it over to God and just trust the results to Him. That's what I'm dealing with now. I thank every one of you for posting information on this site. It has been so helpful in making this decision. God bless all of you! Deborah
