I am going to see her tonight. I am going to make her walk and use her incentive spirometer. She wont like me much. But these are things she must do. She will be fine once it is done! Dawn tell Dr Lo hello for me too. Tell him to open a place in his surgery schedule for me I am ready!!!!! Not nervous about surgery. I was an anesthesia tech in the Navy so I know what goes on in the OR. I think that helps me to know all the ins and outs. Maybe I will see you at the hospital today. I will be there after my hubby gets home from work I dont want to take my son with me. Sara doesnt need to be exposed to the extra germs from Kids.

Amy, im going later this afternoon and i'm gonna get her butt up too!hehe I'm gonna try and go about 430-500 before the clinic closes for the day!Maybe i well see ya there and we can double team her! She's gonna call securety on both of us!hehe So you are not nervous about laying on that surgery table butt naked? That was my biggest concern, i though i might blind Dr Lo! DAWN

I will probably see you there. Depends on traffic we live in Waveland. I am not nervous we always did a great job keeping patients covered up in warm blankets except for the part needed to do the surgery. Medical people are professional and bare bodies dont fase them. That is just part of the job. As far as blinding Dr Lo he better be paying attention to the tv and the camera in the trochars (rods used for laprascopic part) and not my big ol butt! hahahahahahaha Sara will be glad that we are both there she is going to need a lot of support through this she really worries about stuff. We can ease her mind. You have been through the surgery part to comfort her and I have the medical training to help her through. I am not a doctor and would never give her medical advice but can reassure her that each day will be better. See you later. If hubbby gets home early. Where do I go to get to the ward? In the main enterance where the support group was? HELP! That place is a maze and I get lost. I have only been to the family practice clinic and the auditorium

Just go in the main entrance like you are going to the auditorium and go down that hall behind the front desk and find the elevator and go to 4th floor and fid 4a follow the signs or ask someone at the nurses station where to find her! everyone is real nice and helpful at keesler. Hope to see ya tonight, PARTY IN SARA JOHNS' ROOM this afternoon hehe!

Hey Angie I was a U S Navy Hospital Corpsman we have all kinds of training LPN, Combat medicine which I used during desert storm I was on the USNS Mercy. I was a ward corpsman which is like inpatient LPN. I worked in clinics as a Medical Assistant but my favorite job was Anesthesia tech in the Navy we got to intubate help with spinals and epidurals IV's A lines etc just all kinds of things. I have been a medical clerk the last 5 years for the Navy when we lived in Maine. I am not looking for a job yet till after my surgery. I dont want to start a new job and then have to take off for a few weeks. You will enjoy surgical tech. Lots of instruments to learn but cool operations to watch. Enjoy it!!!!!! and good luck!
