What did you eat today? 7/9/05
oh no i hate to report this today nervous eatting has taken hold of me today!
B~protein shake
S~handful goldfish crackers- i robbed the twins snacks
L~ham sandwich 1 slice whole grain bread w/h mayo and mustard and a pickle spear rolled up in it
S~this is what i dont want to admit but i guess i will make my confession
I am a coke addict and the addiction took control of me today , so i
wheeled in to the sonic and got me a small diet cherry coke and i had
to get a small order of chili cheese tots!!!! I only ate half of them and
they all came up on the drive home and yes i was driving!!!! Thank
goodness i still had the bag!!
D~2oz of smoked chicken and 1 smoked rib and 1 bite of baked potatoe salad
S~ yes another, i'm a slow learner, and hard -headed to boot! 1 ok 2 i admit it 2 pieces of sf pecan delight!!!!
I need help guys im eatting too much and the coke-- i had been doing so good and this durn hurrican is makeing me nervous so i had to have it!! I just got over my pouch being irritated form those last two cokes i drank and now i done it again!!! I think i must like the pain!LOL Do ya'll think that i have streched my pouch? is there a way to find out ? and can it be shrunk? or am i just nuts? DAWN
To see how big your pouch is:
Measure out a cup or two of cottage cheese. QUICKLY eat as much as you can. Measure what is left.....Subtract from original amount....then you know how big your pouchie is.....I've never done this, but I betcha you are guaranteed to
if you eat this fast like you are supposed to...And some folks say if you don't like cottage cheese to use oatmeal, but I wouldn't....you don't wanna eat anything that will swell in your tummy and make it WORSE!! You could mix some sugar free jello in the cottage cheese if you don't like cottage cheese and that might help....
Honey, if it HURTS, don't do it!!! Leave them cokes alone!!! I was a sugar-free, caffiene-free Sam's coke fanatic....I haven't had one since Dec 10......YOU CAN DO IT!!! If'n you don't, I will personally come and whup up on you!! Find something to keep those nervous fingers busy - like crochet, knitting, painting, flinging cups and saucers at the wall....something.....
I love you dearly and you ARE GONNA DO THIS right, if I have to drag you kicking and screaming thru!!!!

Eat until you are full. How big was your tummy made? You can kinda judge by that. I dunno how big it should be, but if you are eating more than the amount of cottage cheese at normal meals you are overeating. You and Angie Bea are both going to He-double-toothpicks in a handbasket with gasoline drawers (I already told her she was...) for drinking cokes - she got a Sprite (they'd messed up her order) in the drive thru!!!! I can whup you both (and IF I can't, I know people that know people that can...), so watch it!!!!

Thanks again Arlies, my pouchs is supposed to be the size of a shot glass, so not very big. I think one reason i might be able to eat to much is that i havent been able to get myself out of the habit of drinking with my meals. I stay so thirsty and i feel like i'm gonna choke if i dont wash my food down. I'm still trying to get the hang of all this, this WLS stuff really is hard( but i guess ya'll told me that before hand , I just didnt have a clue!).

Breakfast: Homemade breakfast burrito
Snack: 1 serving of Baked Cheetos (they taste like the real thing--real good for us cheesy crunch needers---Melissa spotted them at Walmart)
Snack: 4 Pisstachio Nuts
Lunch: Grilled Chicken Salad w/Ranch
Snack: Bran Flakes Cereal with Blueberries
Dinner: couple of bites of Pork Tenderloin and green beans w/beets
Snack: Blueberries with Splenda and cinnamon in milk (this was GOOOOD--the blueberies were frozen and when I mixed them in the milk and splenda it was real thick like a smoothie)
I have the munchies today. Want cold stuff. Picked those blueberries today and cant get enough of them.
