UPDATE ON CHERYL LEE!!!!!

I just spoke with Vicki, Cheryl's daughter, and Cheryl is doing good! She went back into surgery because she had a leak in the old tummy. She is awake and aware now and has had nothing to eat or drink since shortly after surgery - when she had her first sip, they discovered the problem - and I betcha she is a grumpy bear! She is in ICu and will be moved to a room either later today or tomorrow and will probably spend 2 days out on the floor before she goes home. So we are looking at maybe going home Tuesday or Wednesday. The leak is fixed. The vent, NG tube, arterial line are all out. She is sitting up and moving around a bit. All vitals were perfect this morning. Ya'll say a prayer of thanks that Cheryl came thru with so little problem - you know how bad some of the folks have had with leaks..... Go Cheryl! We love ya!!! Arlies thank you so much for the update! You are so wonderful at posting to all of us about people. We love you & wish that we would all remember to tell you more often how much we love and appreciate you. Jo-- now that her garage sale's over, she doesnt have anything else to do JUST KIDDING!! Thanks Arlies, for checking on Cheryl. I 've been here off and on all day checking to see if anyone has any news on her. I sure wish hope for her to have a quick recovery now and she'll probably be down at goal in six months.

How wonderful! I came home from Peps to bring my dog back and got on to check and see if their was an update on her. I am thrilled that all is okay. I have been worried. THanks for letting us know Arlies... You truly are an angel...
