Cheryl Lee

Does anyone have an update on her? I will call and check on her in the morning... I am a little worried since we have not heard anything..

I just posted the following: I just spoke with Vicki, Cheryl's daughter, and Cheryl is doing good! She went back into surgery because she had a leak in the old tummy. She is awake and aware now and has had nothing to eat or drink since shortly after surgery - when she had her first sip, they discovered the problem - and I betcha she is a grumpy bear! She is in ICu and will be moved to a room either later today or tomorrow and will probably spend 2 days out on the floor before she goes home. So we are looking at maybe going home Tuesday or Wednesday. The leak is fixed. The vent, NG tube, arterial line are all out. She is sitting up and moving around a bit. All vitals were perfect this morning. Ya'll say a prayer of thanks that Cheryl came thru with so little problem - you know how bad some of the folks have had with leaks..... Go Cheryl! We love ya!!!
