Will a little alcohol this weekend?

My friend is having a 4th July party this weekend or will the alcohol hurt me and my little pouch?

Lisa, If I was you I would avoid the alcohol. I see that it hasn't been that long ago since your surgery. Your little pouch is still healing and I wouldnt recommend putting alcohol in it just right yet. However, you may want to call your dietian and see what she/he says about it. This is just my opinion. Oh Lisa I would be too scared to drink this soon. I am 7 months out and still haven't worked up enough courage. I know of some who have but I don't think they were quit as early as you. Check with your doc. You can have fun without the alcohol. Carry around a cup, act drunk and make people think your drinking Becky

I had a little wine a few months out. Didnt seem to bother me. It only took a little and I was lit... If you do drink.. only drink a little. I am not advising it but I did do it and was fine. Alot of drinks have a good bit of sugar in them too and you may dump. If I drink, I drink wine or clear shots. You wont be able to do multiple shots though.. 1 is enough! Anything more than that is asking for trouble.. been there done that. Have a great weekend!
