Breakfast: Coffee Shak Lunch: 1/4 cup of Lima beans, 1/4 cup of blackeyed peas, 1/3 of a cup of green beans, 1/4 cup of turnip greens with tobasco, 1 bite of a cornbread muffin Snack: Carbwell Peanut Butter Bar Dinner: 3/4 cup steamed Broccoli and 2-3 ounces of meatloaf with catsup and onions and garlic. Later I will have another protein shake bringing my totals to: Calories 907/ Fat 29 /Carbs 87 /Protein 76 Accomplishment for today: Had to pack my daughters lunch. Her cheetos wouldnt fit in the lunchbox so I had to open the bag to let the air out. I did not have one cheeto... Then when I picked her up she opened her lunch box and her remaining cheetos were looking at me. I didnt have one then either. Worst food choice for today: Lima Beans... I did not realize they had so many calories. I have a hard time telling how many ounces are in a peice of meat. I guestimate on those sometimes. **I am pleased with my calorie intake for the day**

Hey Melissa, I was wondering what kind and where you get those protein waffles. I have the eggo whole wheat but I could sure use the extra protein. Thanks Becky

We have three super Walmarts here and only one of them carries my waffles. And it would be the one farthest from me, but I truck it out there to get them anyway because it is worth it for the extra protein and less carbs. They are made by Ego and are Special K for the low carb lifestyle. There are two kinds of special K. One is fat free and sucks. The other one is low carb with more protein than the average waffle and they taste good. One waffle has 7-1/2 grams of protein which for a waffle is good. There is also another brand of waffles that has protein in it and I can't think of the brand. But they come in flavors like blueberry, apple cinnamon. I find those at the Corner Market and Sunflower. Whatever the brand is, they make all that low carb cereal too with the protein. Kashi or something. Melissa

I know how stressed you have been lately with that audit. If I were you I would have eaten the who house plus the shed. You are doing really good and keeping focused on whats at hand and not "Let me drown my sorrows in a pint of ice cream/2 ham sandwiches/a grab bag of cheetos/Fried chicken/Pizza/cookies/cake, etc". Thats a great accomplishment. Esp for us emotional eaters.

7-8:00 2 cups of coffee/handful of pretzels 2:00 stir fry with red/green/yellow peppers, onions, squash and chicken (lots of color) 5:00 1 bag of popcorn 7:00 hamburger 8:00 1 cup SF ice cream 1:00am 1 cup SF ice cream I left for work today and forgot my water & vitamins...oops I don't have time to eat usually when I work so that's why the 8-2:00 gap exists. When I get busy I forget to eat but this summer being lazy with the kids is really beginning to show in my thighs! I'm almost afraid to weight this afternoon at the Y. Oh well, I'll face the music and set a goal for weight loss. Elesha

That stir fry sounds good and healthy. Did you ever find the scales at the Y? I never saw them. I had a great time today. We will continue to get better and more toned... I might go to that perfect abs class 2morrow night at 5:30-6:00. Dont know though. I am glad you mentioned the books on tape. I havent listened to those in forever. I am gonna have to get my Harry Potter on tape casue I have been reading it for 8 months and am only on chapter 5. NO JOKE! Take care!

I had a blast too! I think Crackerbarrel has books on CD that you can rent and then return for just a few dollars. I don't know the details but a friend of mine likes to get her books there. I never did find the scales. If I get a chance, I'm going to slip my the Y during the day and try to get in the treadmill at least. I have Liam's friend and his mom coming over the swim in the morning and I'm not sure how long they will stay and then the 4:00 dental so I'm not sure if I'll see you Wednesday. I will check to see that you went though...so that abs class sounds like a winner! You go kick butt, girl! Elesha
