I have about decided that most of us listed mexican as our favorite foods. I think mexican is the culprit.. What you think?

You are so right! Mexican food is definately my weakness! My husband took me to the movies last night, and he took me out for lunch today. I just kept thinking - man, I will not be able to eat stuff like this after I have surgery - no more buttered popcorn from the theater and no more fried chimichangas, salsa and chips. Honestly, I can not wait!

Yes, you will be able to eat that stuff. Just in moderation. I still eat mexican. I will order a chicken soft taco and eat one bite of the tortilla and then the guts of the taco. I will eat salsa but I get 3 - 5 chips and break them in small pieces so it lasts longer. Its the salsa I really want and its not bad for us. Its actually okay. Before surgery I would order fajitas and eat every bite.. Now we go and have had 3 people share fajitas and still have some left. The 2 that I shared with are 2 of my mutant friends who are skinny. We also go to a local diner and split a blue plate lunch. The servings are so large nowadays. I have had popcorn too.. I try to not make it a daily habit but I am trying to not deprive myself. Learning that depriving will send me into binge eating. Thats not good.
