6 week check up results/meal plan
Hello everyone-
Good news! When for my 6 weeks check up and I have lost 34 lbs in all! 17 the 1st week and 17 in 4 weeks! I am on full activity now which is awesome! I have a new diet!
Cheese - low fat or fat free
Cottage Cheese - low fat or fat free
Yogurt - low fat or fat free and sugar free
Egg - may be tolerated cooked one way and not another. Use non-stick veg spray coating for scrambling and frying.
Cooked dried beans - cooked very tender (navy, pinto, lima, kidney)
Cooked dried peas - cooked very tender (black-eyed, split)
Peanut Butter - smooth, reduced fat
Crackers - SALTINES ONLY low fat or fat free
Potato - not fried, no skins
SAMPLE MENUS
Breakfast - 1 egg or egg substitute (use non-stick veg spray coating)
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Lunch - 3 saltines and 1 ounce low fat cheese
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Breakfast - 1/2 cup fat free yogurt
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Lunch - 1/2 - 1 cup strained cream of chicken soup made w/skim milk
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Dinner - 1/4 baked potato (no skin) with 1 ounce low fat cheese
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Breakfast - 1 egg
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Lunch - 3 low fat crackers w/1 tbsp peanut butter
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
Dinner - 1/4 cup low fat cottage cheese w/low fat crackers
Beverage - 1/2 cup protein shake or other noncaloric beverage
