I'VE GOTTA QUESTION..

HEY YALL! I JUST HAVE A QUICK QUESTION THAT I WAS WONDERING ABOUT, I HAVE LOST ABOUT 35 POUNDS ON WW, AND YALL KNOW THE STORY BEHIND THE INS. MAKING ME GO TO WW. WELL I HAD A COWORKER TELL ME THAT IF I KEEP LOSING LIKE I AM THEY MIGHT SAY THAT I CAN LOSE IT ON MY OWN, AND THEY WON'T APPROVE MY SURGERY. THE GIRL AT LIV LITE TOLD ME THAT THE INS. JUST WANTS TO SEE IF I CAN STICK TO A DIET REGIMEN OR PROGRAM BECAUSE AFTER SURGERY IT WILL BE REALLY IMPORTANT TO FOLLOW THE PLAN. DO YALL THINK BCBS OF AL WILL SCREW ME OUT MY SURGERY, EVEN THOUGH THEY ARE MAKING ME GO TO WW? JUST WANTING TO KNOW YALL'S OPINOION ON THAT. THANKS, I HOPE EVERYBODY HAS A GREAT DAY. HUGS CRYSTAL

If you have a good nutritionist then they are aware that once you stop weigh****chers (and you cant stay on it forever) that the weight will return with a vengance. I worried too about loosing weight preop but they dont think of it like that. They really want to know that you can stick to a program and that you have the will power to listen and FOLLOW instructions. BCBS of Alabama is one of the better insurance companies. I do not think you will get screwed. Dont fret over it.

I think that they cannot cheat you out of surgery, cause you cannot continue with WW forever, no one can..... and even if you lost some most people (like me) plateau out and then nothing after that. I lost 50 pounds with Adkins,could not go below 200 even with serious cutbacks, but it just crept back on over a year, so back to square one....... Hang in there and we will be praying that things go well for you! Love ya, Cheryl
