Bring on the flames..........
OK people I have a confession to make, and i know i"ll get flamed over it but i'm prepaired for it and need it so bring on the flames!!! i haven't been following my dear Drs. orders, I can't eat anything pureed!!! I have been eatting soft things and chewing real real good( please noone try this i'm not adviseing it) but i haven't had any problems. But i'm worried that maybe this is going to hender my wt loss and all i will lose is these misley 18 lbs. I know someone who didn't lose enough wt and is still obese, i said i would never do what she done and now look at me.........., never say never! Here is what i ate yesterday does this sound terriable to ya'll?
B- matrix vanilla protein shake made w/h 1cup carb countdown fat free milk.
S-1 small sugar free pepper mint patty(that time of the month, needed chocolate)
L- 2 tsp tuna mixed with mayo and lemon juice( i thought i'ld bust after this)
D- about 2 oz baked grouper with lemon and a tad of butter ( stuffed again)
S- A tiny hand full of sunflour seeds( i chewed the devil out of them)
And i drank about a 1/2 gallon of water, tea, koolaid -s/f
today I had my protein shake this morning about 7:00 and its 3:00 now and I've only had water i'm secared to eat anything cause of yesterday. I'll die if i haven't lost wt this week when i go to the drs. I'm paraniod and i know i need to seek counseling for it!LOL Did any of ya'll have these feelings or am i the only crazy person here? Or should i be worried cause i'm not eatting the puree foods? DAWN

I never could puree.. I chewed it and chewed it and chewed it and never could get the pureed food down, so I stuck with chewing it.
Don't worry.You'll lose. You can't BUT lose with the little food you 're able to get in. Trust me. You're fine.
As for plateaus.. I hit my first one at three weeks, so do NOT get discouraged if you have weeks with no loss. You will see the inches falling off but not pounds sometimes. The pair of 14s I bought that were tight 3 weeks ago.. I washed them since they got wet on the move and put them on (omg.. after the run in the dryer I thought they'd shrink even more LOL) and they are now comfortably fitting!!! Holy Cow. If only I could get off two pounds now.. I can FEEL it coming soon but I'm totally irked that I am stuck at 201 LOL
Anyways, I'm going to catch a movie.. yak atcha later .

I'm a scrawny little short 5 ft 4 inches. I can't figure it out either but I've checked and double checked my scale. It says 201 when I get on it and for hubby it says 228... so It's perfecly correct !!! I find it weird.. I was wearing this size clothes 15 yrs, heck, 20 yrs ago and at that time when I wore the size 14s and L/XL shirts and only weighed 165 lbs. I have NO clue how this is possible. I 'm thinking bone density but that can NOT be that huge of a difference. Strange huh? LOL

I want fuss at you too bad but you do need
to really think about this and get a handle on it
now. You will still loose weight now but you have
to change your way of eating for good for the surgery
to be a long time success. I have fallen into a pattern
of eating in the middle of the night like I did before surgery.
So when I went to the grocery store I didn't buy anything
I could eat easly therefore I want eat it. I love those
sf peppermint patties. That is one of the things I have
been eating. I have always loved sweets and thats what
I'm eating at night there are sf but I know I don't need to do it.
So don't be too hard on yourself everyone does something like
this just try and change while you can.
