More from Teresa Tynes
Okay, actually this is Mike. My wife and I are both interested in surgery, but I am having a harder time deciding than she did. While she has type 2 diabetes, I have diabetes insipidus (as a result of pituitary surgery) and I have to take in quite a bit of water everyday to stay hydrated. So, I will have to speak to my doctor about it.
We are thrilled to be a part of this board. It was very interesting reading people's stories. It has also been wonderful to see how successful Jane's surgery was. (My wife is getting some of Jane's hand-me-downs already!)
Anyway, thanks so much for the warm welcome. We have been to voc. rehab and will be going to the doctor soon for Teresa's referral to UMC.
Have a great day!
Hey Mike!!!
Glad to have you! I wish you both well in your WLS journey or quest! It seems like it takes FOREVER to get a date and then all of a sudden it is behind you! Keep us posted. If you opt NOT to have WLS, don't go away! We will support you in whatever you do to get healthier!
