GUESS WHO I MET TONIGHT?

I went to the Meridian Support Group meeting. It was a small crowd....shame on you Jo, Tams, etc., for not being there. I grieved and grieved that you didn't come, but I got to meet Brenda Estes!!!!! Oh, I really like her and it's about time I got to meet her!!!! Also Billy Ray was there and I think he stole the show!!! The ladies ALL loved him - see Jo and Tams, you missed a really good treat!!! Melinda Bercegeay is like 6 pounds from GOAL!!! and I told her I could see all six of those pounds in her big toes ! She is a skinny, minny!!! It was a very small crowd, but we all enjoyed it and missed all you folks that didn't show up....I will only name Jo and Tams cause I can whup them if I have to!!!! Smoochies Arlies

Sorry Arlies but I have a good excuse. Remember I have no tranportation! The car slung 2 rods on the way home from the bash. DH is working furiously to get a van going that the future son-in-law blessed us with. He worked until 10:30 monday night putting the cluth in.. And today he has to get a ride to pick up the starter that is being rebuilt and then put that in. I am glad that y'all had a good time. This was only like the 3rd one that I've missed in over a year. I so sorry !!! But after a (what seemed to last forever) day of VBS & 50+ kids, my tired butt was dragging. We didn't eat before we left the house yesterday morn., so when we got out, we headed straight for Krystal's. No, I wouldn't eat the cookies & was just too tired to make a sandwich After we ate, we all took a nap & didn't get up till around 3:30. And that was because Granny called & woke everyone up. Then Johnny had to take his Mom to Brewer's Dental Lab at 4:30 to pick up her teeth & then to UPS to pick up her meds before 5:00. But if it makes you feel better, I was back in bed by 10:30. And I slept all night like a baby !!! Heck, I don't even remember getting up to go to the bathroom. Now how bad is that !!! So off I go to another day of wild chillens wantin their Kool-Aid & Cookies. Pray for Me !!! I figure if you were to start praying oh, right about now (7:38am) till 11:30, that I should be OK for today !!! I am planning on being at the UMC meeting tonight with bells on. Just wake me up when the meeting starts or people start coming in. Tammy

Tammy, I Feel for ya! i feel like i'm running VBS out of my house everyday and a cafateria on top of that! Glad you only have a week to deal with wild chirren, you'll make it, maybe with a few gray hairs to show for it though! Good Luck with them younguns! DAWN

Good Morning Sunshine! Are you feeling better this morning? When you are a new post op you really just have to test different things to see how it makes you feel. If it hurts, don't do it that way next time. Every person is different. I know that ice cold drinks would and still do make my pouch hurt. Just don't try to get in too big of a hurry to eat things. Your opening to your pouch is still inflamed and swollen from the surgery and things could possible get stuck if you try to eat too soon. Rhonda

Hey Rhonda, I feel much better today, I do think it was the ice cold with the drinking to fast that was makeing me hurt.i'm takeing it slow today and we'll see what happens.i can't wait to see how much I've lost tomorrow, hopefuly i won't be disapointed! DAWN
