Hi Billy and welcome to the MS Board. We love new people and you are amongst friends here.. Most of the time anyway... I would say that 26.5 pounds in 2 weeks is VERY GOOD! Ever done that before?? I guess we have another man on here to make us females jealous. Men lose so much faster... Happy for you...but makes us jealous. Glad you came to post and be sure to share lots of embarrasing stories about our queen. Haha...

Hey Billy, Welcome to the Board. We have lots of great people & info here. Feel free to ask any & all questions. We may know the answer & if we don't know the answers to your questions, we'll just make up a good one just for you. But, you do need to watch out for one person here, Arlies. She's bit of a trouble maker & always blames it all on Sybil !!! Just kidding. She's one of my bestest buddies around & she's a great person. Even if it is only when she is asleep. You got to love her. She's a doll !!! Heck, she puts our with our jokes !!! (don't let her fool you, she is involved in playing jokes also) Anyways, WELCOME !!!!!!!! Tammy

I am so tickled to receive the responses from all of you. Yes, Arlies and I went to school together, so I am already warned about her- haha -.We have been friends for many years. I hope to make it to the meeting tonight but not sure yet. I work as the Buyer at La-Z-Boy in Newton. The group here at work is extremely supportive. They ask me each day how I am feeling and am I doing alright. My boss's wife had the surgery in January so he is really a lot of help. His wife has really helped me through this so far. Of course that was before I found the forum. I have tried every kind of diet there was and never kept the weight off. I am really determined to do exactly what I am supposed to do and with your help it will be much easier. I added another 1/2 mile to my walking yesterday and now I am walking 3.5 miles a day. My wife and I joined the Newton Country Club (fancy name for swimming pool) to have access to a pool to do my excersizes in. The Dr. said that would be much easier on my joints then actually walking, but haven't found the time to go yet. Thanks for your responses and will look forward to hearing from you.
