Is it possiable..........

Oh my goodness I just weighed myself this a.m. and its 24lbs lighter then yesterday!! Wonder whats up with that?I haven't even done my bowel prep yet!! I'm very sleepy I can hardly keep my eyes open, Is this how I'm going to feel after surgery? DAWN

You need to check your scales, there is no way that you could have lost 24 lbs in one day. Sorry to give you the bad news, but your scales are messed up. You will feel tired for a week or so after your surgery because you are not getting much food at all to increase your energy level but things will get better. Yes hun you will be tired and it is possible to lose that much if it was fluid weight and just to let you know I really enjoyed meeting you yesterday and am praying for your surgery hun. Barry

You will feel a little tired and weak for a couple weeks after surgery as your body adjusts to the reduction in calories and nutrients. I took two weeks off after surgery. I did go in two days during that two weeks and worked 3 hours to get some stuff done. But when I went back to work, for two weeks I only worked half days because my energy level was so low and I had to get a nap in the afternoons for a while. After I adjusted and started pureed foods my energy level increased. Plus I was a lot lighter by then too. Good luck on your surgery tomorrow. I will be thinking about you. Melissa
