Picnic, should I or should I not???

I went for my pre-op today,everything went great all set for tuesday!! BUT, my cutie-pie DR wants me to do a liguiddiet sunday&monday! So should I skip the picnic and not tourcher myself or just go ahead an get used to watching people eat and me not?I really want to meet all ya'll, but i may not be my usual chipper self!! dawn

Oh, I hope you will go ahead and come. I do understand if it will be too hard, but I really hope you will decide to come. We want to meet you and everyone else. Melissa

Aw Dawn, I hope you can come to the picnic. I'd love to meet you. But like everyone else, I would totally understand your not wanting to be around people who are eating. I'd probably want to strangle the person next to me, just for eating beside me. Anyways, I do hope to see you there, and if not maybe next time. Dawn, I know it will be hard - but I bet you can do it! I know how you feel. My doc wants me on a 2 meal liquid diet and one sensible dinner the week before surgery - which is when I'll be on vacation! LOL It's gonna be hard, but we already have the plane tickets! Not much I can do about it now. I hope I'm not miserable. I'm sure there will be tons to do at the picnic besides eat! Tough call! Good luck with the torturous decision! HUGS Kimberly
