Hubby's coming around
Hey Y'all! 
I hope everybody had a great weekend! We cooked out and had some yummy barbque... My hubby is a great backyard chef! Everything he cooks is yummy in my tummy!
Well he also scored some good points in my book this weekend...you know he has been kind of a jerk
about the whole WLS thing, well, I think he is coming around..
.y'all know I have to do WW for 6 months, well he went and bought me all kinds of WW foods to take to work with me, so it will be easier for me to keep up with my points. He told me how good I was looking, and he knows I have worked really hard to get to where I am now. He said he knows that WLS is risky and he was scared something bad would happen to me.. but he sees how much the surgery really means to me and he's going to be there for me...awww.
(wonder what he's done! I know.. I know .. I'm being mean now!)
He also did the sweetest and most romantic thing he has done in a long time... we have a pool at our house and its one of those big above the ground pools... and anyway we have tiki torches that are all the way around it...well I got my daughter off to bed (this was Saturday night) and he asked me to come outside.. and he had bought me a new swimsuit in a smaller size... and he had lit the tiki torches and the water looked so pretty... and he had some romantic music playing and we went swimming... just the two of us..it was like we were dating again...and boyyyyy was it ever fun!!! (wink wink) That was the most fun we have had in a long time 
.. and it felt really good for us to be happy again..
I felt like I was 16 again!

That is good news!! You need his support more than anyone else in the world. Sounds like he was trying to make it up to you for being such a jerk. I am glad that you had a nice weekend. Keep up the good work and your surgery will happen before you know it and you will be a loser like me!!

I am happy for you he is coming around because you will definitely need him on this journey. Sounds like maybe he was with you all along just a little scared. Sounds like he has more than made up for it LOL. My husband has been the best support I could have asked for as well as the rest of my family and it really makes a big difference. Good luck to you.
