Ok I think we will be going to the picnic... But I still have no clue as to what food to bring... Any ideas? I can make alot of stuff but I don't want to bring something someone else is bringing. So what is everyone bringing?

I have the same problem!! Christine told my to bring crafish jumbilia(spell), but I don't think you post-ops can have rice i don't want to have to haul all ya'll to the ER!! I need ideas on what ya'll can eat, i don't want to have to eat the whole pot by myself either!!! I've already got my eyes on that pot of chicken and dumplins that Angie is bringing!! I'll bring anything, Donnie is a good cook and I'll make him cook what ever ya'll want! DAWN P.S. Iris will you be at the support group meeting tonight? hope so,would love to meet ya ! Oh and did i read your porfile right did DR Lo do your surg? If so, How did you like him? He's going to be doing my surg. And i haven't talked to anyone else who has had him. Just courious he is so young, but seems very professional. I'm just getting kinda nervous, i read the memorial pages on here last night for the first time. Sorry the p.s. is long, and I didn't even help you!!

Somewhere on here is a post done by Christine that lists what we have so far. Let's see if I can remember some of the things. Baked Beans Chicken Salad Ham Turkey Green beans Finger Sandwiches Watermelon Corn That is all I can remember right off. I have a list at home, though. I can post later once I get home from work. Lots of other good stuff but too much for my little mind to recall. Anything sounds good to me. I am sure whatever you bring will be wonderful and get eaten. We may not can eat too much but I am sure our spouses and children will make up for it LOL. Glad you are going to make it. Melissa taylor
