Question For Surgeon
That is a question that I asked my surgeon and he did not get offended at all. I think you should ask any and all questions you think of that will make things easier for you and make you feel more comfortable. This is a big decision you have made in your life so ask away, I say. Good luck tomorrow. Let us know how it goes.

Sue,
I don't think anything is "off limits" when it comes to
Asking your Dr.
Just think,
This person has NO qualms about asking you the most
Personal Questions and if the Dr. Patient relationship is going to work,
He must have fully open and honest answers.
This man will see you Completely Naked,
Inside and Out.
What could you possible ask that would be "uncomfortable,"
"Off-Limits," Embarrassing, Awkward, etc...
The Surgeon / Patient Relationship is an intimate one that
Must be Completely Candid and Honest.
And That Street runs Both Ways.
Yes?
Nothing can possibly be "Offensive" in such a relation,
Particularly his Professional "Track Record."
However, if it eases your mind a touch in the meantime,
King's Success rate is more than Twice as good as the national average.
He's "The Man" when it comes to LAP RNY.
See you Tuesday.
Best wishes-
Dx
If he takes offense, you need another surgeon....I don't know ANYBODY that hasn't asked their surgeon that very question. If he gets defensive, he just might be trying to hide something.....BUT he won't!!! He is used to being asked that by everybody else! ASK EVERYTHING YOU WANT SO THAT YOU WILL BE MORE COMFORTABLE WITH HIM!!!!
